This is a delicious summer recipe. You need thin sliced pork for this recipe. Spread one or two sliced pork. (lightly salt and pepper) Smear a little bit of umeboshi (pickled plum), then put the shiso on top of the pork, and roll it. Coat it with flour, egg wash and panko. Deep fry it in medium high heat.
Next one is niratama, nira leek and egg stir fry.
the tonkatsu sound so delicious!! I don't know where I'll find shiso or umeboshi here, though... I hope I get to try it one day.
